As soon as your application has been accepted your information will be added to the database. You will then be sent a Paypal Invoice for prompt payment. When payment has been received your entry will become live. Please note it may take 24 hours for the page to refresh on the Walking Britain server.
The details (location, name and type etc.) of your business collected in this section will be used for your content displayed on this site. Please note the post-code required is to locate your business in relation to the walks contained in the database.

Current statistics (January 2020) show annual traffic peaking at the rate of 8.6 million page views per annum. During the period from mid-November through to end-February site visitors are dependent on weather and can vary considerably from day to day. During the remainder of the year visitor numbers are less weather-dependent.
Peaks in traffic occur around the traditional long weekends throughout the year including Christmas, Easter, Whitsun and August Bank holiday. School holidays and half term holidays also see peaks in traffic across the site.
Walking Britain has 20,000+ pages of content. Most advertising is carried across the whole site. However you can request your promotion to be only carried on pages that have geographic relevance to your product.
