This Somerset walk starts from Tyntesfield, which is a large Victorian mansion in extensive grounds lying to the southwest of Bristol. The National Trust provide access to the house and grounds with extensive parking at Home Farm (grid ref. ST500717) which is reached off the B3128 Clevedon Road from Bristol.

After parking, exit the car park and turn right following the road used for entry to the Tyntesfield Estate. After 400 metres you reach a footpath crossing the driveway (grid ref. ST501721). Turn left here and follow the path passing Sidelands Cottages on your right to enter woodland. Follow the track and descend to reach a lane (grid ref. ST492721) at Wraxall Hill. Turn left and continue along the lane to reach the B3130 with the parish church on your right just before the junction.

Turn right along the B3130 and just after the school on your left take the signed footpath also on your left. The path crosses three fields with the hedge to your right before reaching Land Yeo stream. This is then followed for a further a further half a mile to reach a junction of footpaths just to the north of Brook Farm (grid ref. ST491705).

Turn right here and continue in a northerly direction across fields to reach a cul-de-sac with houses either side. Follow this a short distance to reach the B3130. Turn left and almost immediately take the footpath on your right. This leads back to the car park used at the start of the walk.

PLEASE NOTE - Tyntesfield is only open for pre-booked visits currently, from 10am - 5pm and that the gates are locked outside of these times.
