A New Forest walk from Beaulieu Road exploring Matley Wood & Matley Ridge. During the walk we explore the site of a WW1 Trench Mortar School, a War Dog Training Camp and see the impressive Park Pale Embankment. As well as coming across some amazing fungi, I explain about the various types of Deer that can be found on the New Forest. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description).
