This Lake District walk in the outlying fells explores the limestone pavements and cliffs of Whitbarrow Scar together with the pleasant woodland nearby. The route needs careful navigation with a 1:25000 scale map a useful accessory. The walk offers fine views of the sothern Lake Dsitrict and Morecambe Bay. Please maintain social distancing - keep at least 2 metres away from other walkers. Travel restrictions for exercise in Wales and Scotland will be lifted in early July.
