Caption - Looking ahead along the High Level Path. The camera has failed to portray just how steep and exposed the path is. Although the path shows clearly, be aware that the path marked on the OS map is much less obvious and passes above the two rock outcrops just left of centre of the picture.

Walking in the Lake District National Park is amongst the best in the British Isles.
